If it weren’t for Christopher Hitchens and Pat Condell , I would be in despair – for they both validate my most inner convictions of life and meaning !

@halflifeproductionz im amused at the fact he said insh’allah at the end because it means god willing, he probably used it as a slap in the face to religious people and the fact that it is an expression of thought and not rather one of faith

@tdhtv stay strong man…the realization of the meaning of life may never come to anyone because we as humans search for it and have been for centuries..drastic and sudden illnesses such as the one you may be suffering may humble your life and give you new perspectives to reflect on. hope you beat it and can continue to live a life that you yourself may choose and not be swayed by the influence of ignorant fools

Years from now when the current rulers of earth look back at when Homo Sapiens ruled the earth. I hope a picture of Christopher Hitchens is conjured, imagined, or present.
He is what humans should be.

When you cannot anymore speak the truth, write the truth! It lasts longer and you have more time to make it perfect. Debating with so many amateurs was not worth your time, it was just fun for us to see how easy it was for you to defeat them.
When you can no longer write, just show up to any pub or tavern and let your fellow humans who love you buy you a scotch. When you can no longer drink in public, we will do so in your honor, repeating your truths and crushing your enemies in your name!

LONG LIVE CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS!

@commonsensrules purest form of self-gratification? I’m gonna have to let some cute flamer schnob my nob, good! That’s for the info.

@tdhtv stay strong, brother!

I was also recently diagnosed with tongue cancer at the age of 21. I’ve had to undergo chemo and radiation, one of the most disappointing things being a atheist is that most everyone around me is becoming more religious because of it. I was asked by a doctor if I believed in God, when I replied “no” he seemed to be at a loss of words and continued to prep me for my PET scan.

Christopher Hitchens should be a saint
August 13th, 2011 on 5:23 pm
At 25 years old, I’ve followed Hitchens for some time, from my roots as a Catholic Christian, to today a non-theist. He manages to summarize the reality of religion so concisely, only the truly brainwashed, denial ridden, selfish fairy land dwelling, fools could possibly still follow any of the old school religions (/cultures) that linger around today. Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Scientology, Hinduism, etc. etc. All silly…just so silly!
August 13th, 2011 on 5:35 pm
Great job done by the interviewer by the way. Just thought someone should say it… And yeah, Hitchens is the man… My hero…
August 13th, 2011 on 5:55 pm
@garyfilm — Wrong. I do not believe in God. Think again.
August 13th, 2011 on 6:07 pm
This man is an inspiration
A beautiful person

“So the fact that gay marriages last longer than Gods
“let no man put usunder” sacrament….does not bother you? ”
First of all, I do not agree with Homosexuality for one reason alone. It serves no purpose. The underlying principle behind holy matrimony is procreation. You need a man and a woman to ensure the propagation of the species. Homosexuality is the purest form of selfgratification.
As far as the religous aspects, i think the literature is quite clear.
August 13th, 2011 on 6:57 pm
@garyfilm
I am not a fan of religion(the institution)because it is corruptable. What i do believe is that the CORE of all religions have it right. There is a maker. He may not be Jesus,Jehova,Yaweh,Allah, or any of the other multitude of names used by man to describe him-hell, he may be all of them, how can you ever really know?
What i do believe is that man was given intellect for a reason. Without purpose we are nothing more than animals bent on selfgratification.
Not a world i want
August 13th, 2011 on 7:16 pm
@garyfilm
I agree that far too ofton scumbgs use religion as a cover to enrich themselves. Evil does rule this world and you are correct again in that apathy plays a large part in that fact, but forsaking ones sense of purpose is not the answer in my opinion.
The bible is mans attempt to define God. Is it 100% correct? Who knows, But I can tell you this-Even with the slightest idea of the scope and nature of the KNOWN universe, one would be hard pressed to not see intelligence at work
August 13th, 2011 on 7:36 pm
@commonsensrules So the fact that gay marriages last longer than Gods
“let no man put usunder” sacrament….does not bother you? Its because you speak quite nicely about an imaginary being. It speaks well for you that you want things to be nice and worthwhile. But that doesn’t make it true! Good Christians are good people, but phony hypocritical ones are evil beings. Unfortunately the evil rules all of them. In Islam and Christianity , the decent ones never speak up. So the evil rules!
August 13th, 2011 on 8:04 pm
@ManNorthern So says Glen Beck, a delusional God-man Morman ex drug addict and alcoholic. Beck is invisible, because if something is said without evidence, it can be dismissed without evidence! Stating something is not enough to make it true. What about the other 10,000 Gods that people spoke of and worshiped without evidence….their gone, extinct….because they were imaginary…like yours is!
August 13th, 2011 on 8:45 pm
He’s a true intellectual. The only problems are both the semi intellectual detractors and supporters who follow in his wake.
August 13th, 2011 on 9:12 pm
@thepenguin114 Yes, he intentionally causes harm by violating the absolute moral code, and refuses to acknowledge he is part of creation therefore has acted with ultimate ingratitude.
August 13th, 2011 on 10:08 pm
@garyfilm Did you die then come back to life or something, you talk as if you have infinite knowledge. The Creator does not need us in the least it’s we that need Him. There can be only one absolute Truth, anything otherwise would cause injustice and oppression, and so it is obligorary to combat injustice and oppression whether it is caused by you, hitchens or anybody else.
August 13th, 2011 on 10:12 pm
@aaaaaaac1 Yes it is. A fiction you were brainwashed into believing without evidence….being made to ignore evidence of it not being at all true!
That you have wasted your life believing that the Creator of the Universe needs your help? Your have wasted your life talking to imaginary beings. If you like doing so and it helps you be forced to morality o.k., but keep it away from me….I reason, I think! Slavery to me is an S&M cult. Killing others for not believing tripe is Criminal behavior!

Hitchens and Dawkins etc are proof that Englands education system turns our literate, well spoken gentlemen. We on the other hand have Liberty University , where Jerry Fauldwells ghost turns out morbidly damaged souls incapable of rational thought. Then Republicans hire hundreds of them to judge our legal system and our Constitution. Sharia has nothing on them! They already have taken over the Courts from the Supreme Court down. Look how women have not equality under the Supreme Court vs Women
